Alyssa Finneyfrock joins ITP with a deep commitment to fostering vibrant school ecosystems and enhancing educational experiences. Previously, as the Head of Optima Independent and Associate Head of School at Atlanta Academy, Alyssa championed innovative approaches to education, integrating technology to boost student engagement and supporting strategic planning, instructional design, and professional development.

Alyssa's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Education from Appalachian State University, a Master's degree in Independent School Leadership from Vanderbilt University, and an Advanced Educational Leadership specialist degree from Harvard University. She is also actively involved in the Southern Association of Independent Schools' accreditation teams and has presented at notable conferences such as The People of Color Conference and the National Business Officers Association.

In her role as COO, Alyssa is excited to leverage her expertise in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team. She is committed to our core values of people-centered processes, capacity building, and a holistic perspective on school culture. Alyssa believes in the power of a unified and intentional approach to school leadership, helping schools connect their human capital to their mission and strategic goals.
